I have collected here my work on Biblical law and related material. These are random collections of information on different topics, and do not follow any specific pattern.

The laws of Niddah are pretty simple in the Torah. However, there are many practical issues which we need to learn from experience. In this recording I am joined by my wife Naomi who gives us real isight into the law of Niddah. Many practical points cannot be demonstrated by a man for obvious reasons.

A lesson I gave to a student on Leviticus 23:9-14. This is a simple reading of the text without he rabbinic understanding. As an academic I teach the simple meaning when teaching Biblical Hebrew and Biblical studies, and it is not done to undermine any traditions.

What was the legal structure of marriage in the ancient world? Here I discuss the basic ideas about marriage, and demonstrate from several text what we know was done. I go into what was probably legally considered marriage in ancient Israel.

I was asked followup questions on the topic of clean and unclean foods. Here are my answers.
